Hey guys my names Jake and with swanny, we run the magic bus australia. we’ll be leaving Perth on the 16th of may heading to broome!. The whole road trip will take around 3 -4 weeks to get there. We’ve got 25 seats in total.
The way we see it the more people the better and throughout the trip our plan is to get as many young backpackers from as many different countries as possible to party all across Australia! Of course we will stop and see all the sights such as the pinnacles, sand boarding in lancelin, pinnicles, kalbarri national park, monkey mia/ shark bay, shell beach, coral bay, ningaloo reef snorkling, exmouth, karijini national park, 80 mile beach as well as many other cool spots we know on the way.
Time is not so much of a problem. We run everything as a mini democracy so wherever the group wants to go we go. Whatever the group wants to do, we do. You get the idea, it is going to be an epic trip!
We have camping gear, (gas bottles, camping stove cookers, lights, cutlery, plates and stuff for everyone) a massive cool box, surfboard, body boards, skim board, guitars, , a big sound system in the bus to play music and a killer iPod/spotify with lots of great jams on it, a high powered telescope for star gazing, drinking games, goon funnel, flunkey ball set, a good camera for taking photos, spray paint for painting the bus! etc etc. So all you’ll really need is yourself and whatever your drinking and smoking (if you smoke).
We normally just all chip in a few dollars whenever we are in town and just all make food together. It works out much cheaper for everyone that way (like $3 a day). There’s heaps of free camping in most places along the way so we stay there when we can (there will be a load of us so it won’t really matter where we stay it will still be a party) plus it will save some cash that way. If there’s a cool hostel or 2 in the towns or some amazing places to camp we can stay there for the night aswell, I don’t want to make too many plans too far ahead. We will figure it out along the way!.
Anyways if this seems like a bit of you then let me know. Hopefully hear from you soon! – msg or email us at:
